Job OpportunitiesAdministrative Assistant The Central American Resource Center (CARECEN) is seeking a dynamic self-starter to fill an Administrative Assistant part-time position. She/he will work under the supervision of the Chief of Operations and Executive Director and is responsible for many operational, clerical and bookkeeping tasks necessary to help ensure that CARECEN functions at a high level of effectiveness. Duties include: accounts payable and receivable, record/book keeping, audit preparation, insurance, payroll and benefits management; ensure organization’s tax and financial compliance with state and federal laws; oversee the maintenance of equipment and facilities, office supply inventory and purchasing, other administration tasks as assigned by the Chief of Operations or Executive Director. Requirements: experience in personnel records and employee benefits management, bookkeeping experience (knowledge of Quick Books), excellent interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, ability to handle multiple demands and meet deadlines, working knowledge of Microsoft Office, high school diploma, Spanish preferable, but not required.
